KONTROLLED DEMOLITION

KONTROLLED DEMOLITION is an Industrial Rock band (with sprinkles of Alternative & Techno) currently based out of Los Angeles, originally formed in the year 2000. Throughout the early 2000’s the band made waves and had underground success in both Nashville and Denver performing at various clubs and festivals. They have recently finished their incredible and groundbreaking new record titled, “ROBOT STRUKTURE”. The first single, Robot Structure, was released on October 23, 2025 (Exactly 13 years to the day of the band's last record, "KOLLATERAL DAMAGE"). The incredible brand new single, ASCENDING was just recently released on April 9, 2026 and is already gaining kritical response and excellent reviews! The new record, ROBOT STRUKTURE was written and recorded at Roman Knows Studio in the beautiful and enchanting redwood forest of Northern California by the artistic genius known as Rockwave. Rockwave wrote and co produced all of the songs with relentless blood, sweat, and passion. Roman Brasco also co produced and lended Rockwave an ear for feedback and subtle suggestions. This is the band's follow up sophomore release to their critically acclaimed debut record, “Kollateral Damage” (Originally released October 23, 2012) KONTROLLED DEMOLITION’S new record, “ROBOT STRUKTURE” was originally supposed to be released back in 2015 but unfortunately Rockwave was diagnosed  with cancer and had to drop everything he had aspired for to take care of his health. It has been a very long and hard road back to recovery for the rugged, rambling rocker. In addition to the cancer, Rockwave was also battling an extreme addiction to alcohol. This led the singer into numerous rehabilitation centers and recovery programs. After finishing multiple alcohol treatment programs he began the cancer treatments. The singer’s battle with cancer lasted for more than a decade. Rigorous medical treatments combined with extreme patience, diligence, and a profound reconnection with nature and animals ended up completely curing Rockwave’s cancer and saving the recording artist’s life. “Had I not seeked the help that I desperately needed, I would not be alive to tell the tale or release any new music to the world. My fight with cancer has been one of the most challenging things I have ever had to experience. It was like being at the bottom of the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean without a wet suit, without an oxygen tank and with a ball & chain tied to my feet. I really wasn’t sure if I was ever going to make it back. There were many occasions where I felt like throwing in the towel & calling it a day but there was something inside of me that refused to give up & kept on pushing (despite all of the ridiculous challenges). One of the best things I got out of the extremely painful experience was understanding patience & diligence. It also helped me become a much more spiritually connected person who sees the good in the bad & understands the lessons that can be learned from suffering. The whole thing has been an incredibly eye opening experience and has helped me understand who I really am and what my ultimate purpose is. My purpose is to share my gifts and talents with the world and help end suffering."
